Prize Fund: €2,000.  Final at Bantry Show on Sunday, 16th August 2026.

Rules and Conditions: The aim of this championship is to encourage breeding of Irish draught Foals.  The championship is open to all foals eligible for ID Class 1 status.  A Maximum of Two exhibits may qualify provided the judge feel the standard is hight enough for an ISA Championship.  The Dam's passport must be produced for inspection at the qualifying rounds and at the final. The foal's passport must be produced at the final. One of the judges at the qualifying shows to be from the Irish Draught Horse Judges list if possible. Foals competing at the final are ineligible to enter any other class at Bantry show. There will be seperate classes for colt foal and filly foals at the final. The Overall Champion will be selected from the winners of each class. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.
